Nevertheless, if we look up close for a second, it will become clear how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component, in fact, did a lot to give the creation a spectrum-wide presence and start what was a full-blown tech revolution. Of course, this revolution then went to scale up the human experience from all conceivable directions, but even after achieving a feat so notable, technology will somehow continue to bring out the right goods. The same has gotten increasingly evident in recent times, and assuming a new development on the automotive block ends up making the desired impact, it will only turn that trend into something much more solid moving forward.

TravelCenters of America, the nation’s largest publicly-traded full-service travel center network, has officially confirmed an agreement with Electrify America to install EV chargers at its rest stops across US. As per certain reports, the plan is to deploy around 1,000 charging stalls at more than 200 TravelCenters of America (TA), TA Express, and Petro shopping center locations. Further details indicate how these chargers will be equipped to deliver a charging capability of 350kW, which puts the network among the fastest charging speed providers currently operating in the commercial space. Interestingly enough, the move isn’t really TA’s first ever play with EV chargers, as the company already has Tesla Supercharger stations in Washington, Minnesota, and Nevada. Beyond that, it has FreeWire EV stations in California and Ohio, while also boasting a ChargePoint station in the Tennessee region. You see, the Volkswagen subsidiary already has, at the moment, more than 800 charging locations across North America. Now, it is aiming to another 1,000 by 2026.

Coming back to the partners’ latest foray, although the newly-announced chargers will bear an “e-TA” branding, the company isn’t expected to actively manage the network. It’s Electrify America who’ll install, operate and maintain the charging stations at TA/Petro locations, and it will do so through its business unit called Electrify Commercial. Not just that, the company will also manage the entire process from designing to developing the stations, a process which is likely to include obtaining permitting approvals, providing warranty and 24/7 support services, and conducting onsite maintenance. Hence, to fulfill this responsibility in a rather efficient manner, Electrify America will allow TA customers to access and pay for charging with the help of its official app.
