The human arsenal has always been a little on the loaded end, but honestly speaking, it has still never possessed anything more valuable than that tendency of growing on a consistent basis. We say this because the stated tendency has got us to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology emerging as a rather unique member of the group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is largely based on its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to realize all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centrepiece of every horizon. Now, having such a tool run the show did scale up the human experience from various different directions, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on delivering the right goods. The same has grown to become a lot more evident over the recent past, and assuming a new construction-related development ends up making the desired impact, it will only propel that trend to far greater heights in the near future and beyond.
Kobelco Construction Machinery USA Inc, a Houston-based company that focuses on providing new-age construction equipment, has officially launched a SK350LC-11 excavator, which is designed to make the excavation process much more efficient than it has ever been before. According to certain reports, the Kobelco SK350LC-11 comes equipped with a 265-hp Isuzu Tier 4 Final engine to support lifting heavy loads and operating large tools. Talk about managing larger loads, the excavator is also given a redesigned set of boom cylinders that allow it to handle full-fledged trench boxes. But how does the whole thing work on a more practical note? Well, once the user has navigated through the relevant controls, the machine is instantly able to dedicate one hydraulic pump to the travel system and one to all the other functions, and it is able to do so consistently enough for a smooth operation. Anyway, with incessant support from these hydraulic pumps, Kobelco SK350LC-11 positions itself to travel, and simultaneously carry around loads of enormous weight and size. Notably, the entire operation occurs across three working modes i.e. Eco, S, and H mode, thus making it possible to strike an optimal balance between high performance, economy, and fuel consumption.
Beyond the enhanced technical prowess, the new excavator is also made to be more durable. To give you an example of the same, the machine’s side panels have been made thicker to solidify body rigidity, whereas the bucket cylinder pin boasts a stretched out diameter so to bolster resilience in the context of using various work tools. Another detail worth a mention is how all the new -7 Short Radius and -11 Conventional tail swing machines enjoy new cabin environments, environments which have enhanced ergonomics and safety features, as well as better space and visibility. The stated updates translate to include a 7-way adjustable, heated air suspension seat that moves together with the armrests and hydraulic controls. This should help in reducing operator fatigue, providing enhanced shock absorption, and improving comfort. While we are covering the new set of luxuries for operators, it must be acknowledged that Kobelco has even introduced features like FM/AM, AUX, Bluetooth, hands-free telephone radio, smartphone holder, USB charger, and a 12V power outlet in the cabins so to scale up the value proportion.
Moving on to the safety aspect, a heavy-duty Level II overhead top guard is there, and it can be tilted open for easy cleaning of the top window. Furthermore, the excavator brings rear swing flashers and rear work lights to offer better protection in and around busy jobsites. Lastly, we have seven LED lights, 2 on boom, 2 on top front of the cab, one on right side body, and 2 facing rear on the counterweight, to make it easier to work in low light conditions.
When you have such a powerful tech, the least you can expect is to stay upto speed about the status of various factors that are critical to your daily operation. Kobelco’s excavator gives you just that by letting you access operational information, such as hours, fuel consumption and maintenance status, all in the convenience of a remote setting.
